for all the schools on your list, other than stanford, you have a really good shot
i wont be surprised if you get accepted by most of them
good luck

thanks ill chance you right now
im really surprised, i thought my gpa would be a huge hiderance. is it the upward trend thats compromising this?

for the next person who replies-why am i getting so many matches? I thought my gpa would be so much more of a problem. is it because of the upward trend?

I would say that your into all of those schools for sure except stanford and NYU. NYU you need a lot better SAT score and stanford you need overall a higher GPA and higher scores, so its a double whammy. chance me back?

thanks to both of you! ill chance you guys right now :)

but for the next person who answers can you please tell me why my low gpa isnt more of a problem? im really surprised (and happy of course) with all these ins, but I thought the schools were a lot more competitive.
I also thought my gpa was more of a problem than my sat

a 30 act is a plus for some of those. You should apply to stanford. You may be giving them a free $70, but if its always been your dream, sure. You’ll get into a few or a lot of those i believe and im sure they’ll acknowledge the gpa trends.

thanks for your opinion
i think you have a good chance to get into those schools except stanford. But if you have an unique story to impress them, i would definitely apply stanford anyway. Your SAT scores are pretty high compared to mine! but I think your GPA is kinda low for stanford. But if that was your dream school, I would say you should go for it!:)

BU - low reach
NYU mid/low reach
UMass Amherst low match
Syracuse match
ASU low match
UCSD low match
San Jose State University low match
Penn State low match
University of Wisconsin-Madison match
Northeastern low/mid reach
USC-ED reach
GWU high match
UC Davis match
Stanford high reach

raise those sat scores to 2100 for most schools. You’ll prob still need a 2200+ sat or a 33+ act for stanford good luck.

forget SJSU, and what the majority of people here think they know about Stanford. If you know what you want to major in and used all your focus and (your and/or your parents) resources you have a shot at Stanford from all what you wrote. I’d also have a better idea on what would be the good east coast schools to match your major and interests. How much $ can u afford yearly?

sweet thanks to all of you. just retook the sat my goal was 2100+ but we’ll see i think i did pretty well and 2200+ is definitely a possibility. can somebody reccomend me any safeties? or is my list fine.

I have no need for financial aid from any schools.

NYU is a high match and Stanford is a high reach. For everything else I’d just make sure your subjunctive stuff is in order. You have a great shot, good luck!

Quite honestly, the only one that will be really hard for you to get into will be Stanford imo. The rest of the schools on your list are defintely possiblities! Pour the passion into your essays Best wishes!
