I think you are pretty much in UNC and UVA as well. Upenn will be rough but I still think it is possible if you have a hook in your app. good luck either way. all are great schools.

Should get into UNC, especially if you get math up like you said

UVA - possibility, probably in your favor

Penn - I dont really know how to chance ivy’s since they put so much other stuff in instead of numbers aswell, although that internship you had would be great for any college you applied for

Your SAT math score definitely needs to brought up. Have you considered applying to other schools beyond those three? I don’t know much about UVA but i know UNC is extremely difficult to get into out of state, but with a great SAT score you could be a high match.

Penn would be a reach. It’s your SAT scores, again. But the fact that your number 2 in your class would look really good.

You ec’s are awesome and it shows you have a distinct passion which colleges really like:)
Show the application offices that you are not only intelligent with your grades and scores
but make sure the applications shows what a well rounded person you are. the universities want to see how you will add to their campus. you have a great chance good luck!!!

I might be in the minority but i don’t think penn is such a longshot. You’ve got a great gpa and interesting ecs, and even though your sats aren’t fantastic they’re good enough. you’ve got the stuff, it’s just a crapshoot from here on out.

You have very good if not excellent chances for UNC and UVA. Your commitment to violin and the internship, among others, are good (especially for UNC). I would say UPenn is a reach simply because it is a very competitive school, but you still have a decent shot, and just make sure you highlight your leadership positions (cheerleading coach, peer tutor) as well.
