anyone else?

Bump bump

What is your intended major?
UMich is a low reach to reach depending on which school you are applying.

I am planning to major in engineering, but since I know engineering majors are hard to get into, I was wondering whether it’d be better to apply via natural science major?

i don’t like when people write their volunteering hours accurately as if they only cared about numbers than quality. Just sayin… UC Berkeley Reach.

Ok thanks tbtehfdl77 for that awesome help, I mean, I must be a horrid person for keeping track of my volunteer hours, oh, I can just write 200+ hours on my college app, and say I don’t really know what I did.

If you are interested in engineering, you should find some matching school for it. You should not pick a major for the sake of easier admission. Remember that is likely to be your career for life.
For engineering:
UCLA: High match for in state
UCB: high match to low reach for in state
Lower UCs: match to low match to safety for in state
University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign: low reach (need to specific major)
University of Wisconsin at Madison: match to high match
University of Michigan at Ann Arbor: low reach
University of Texas at Austin: low reach
GA Tech: high match to low reach
Purdue: match
