1,000+ hours of being a volunteer instructor for kumdo (traditional Korean martial art), plus I have gotten 1st place at an international tournament, and 1st place at various national, regional, and institutional tournaments.
40+ hours of tutoring ESOL kids.
Church mission trips to Japan and Haiti.
Camp counselor.

Hooks: URM (do Asians count????), 1st-generation, lowish income

A bit about me: I'm kind of a bookish introvert. I've been called "quirky", but always a pleasure to be around. I am inquisitive and enjoy learning. I'm definitely not a party person. I think I would like to go to a small school that's not in a city; being around tons of people exhausts me.

I have taken/am taking the most rigorous courses offered at my school, which is a top, yet small public school. I plan to major in international relations and minor in peace and conflict studies. I think quite a few of my ECs reflect that. I have great leadership qualities, and one day, I hope to be a diplomat or an ambassador, or work in the UN or state department.

So, what colleges would be a perfect fit for me? Thanks! :)
