<p>For early admission im looking to apply to one of: columbia, yale, princeton and stanford as an INTERNATIONAL student, with financial aid.</p>

<p>Im from New Zealand below are my credentials: I am applying for engineering, or just the under grad college.</p>

<p>///IGCSE: Maths (99), physics (97), chemistry (96), accounting (96), english (77)</p>

<p>///AS Levels so far: Maths (93), english (83), chemistry (91), physics (92), accounting (92)
Stage 1 University Maths paper : got an A</p>

<p>///A levels im taking: Physics, chemistry, accounting, maths and further maths (maybe)</p>

<p>///SAT 2: Maths 2 (800), chemistry (800), physics (800), might take bio too. Haven't taken SAT 1 yet.</p>

<p>///GPA = 4 (out of 4)</p>

<p>///Top 2% of class, my school is ranked among top 5 in country.</p>

<p>In terms of extracurricular: </p>

<p>provisional district cricket
club chess, </p>

<p>///Academics:</p>

<p>science fair winner (physics category), scholarship for original research science fair, third in NZ first robotics comp, robotics captain, finished kumon maths program, , silver medal NZ physics comp, NZ maths olympiad training camp, </p>

<p>///Extra cirr:</p>

<p>Habitat for humanity volunteer - we did hands on work to help build homes for the poor.</p>

<p>community service at rest homes - helping old and disabled people </p>

<p>YES business innovation award, started my own business as part of
school comp, and made 4,000 in selling USB powered cup warmers - i was financial director in company and we made business plans and approached a investor who gave us 1,00, and then we order parts from hong kong, and sold in malls etc. </p>

<p>robotics captain - started club at my school</p>

<p>Welfare committee - we go to other schools and mentor and tutor</p>

<p>amnesty group - currently doing a petition against women rape in india</p>

<p>cultural group, </p>

<p>ST John cadet for 7 years with several badges.first aid etc, plus volunteer work, and leadership courses.</p>

<p>What are my chances???? Where should I apply early admission ?????</p>

<p>You’re very qualified for all those schools. Just make sure to get at least a 2250 on the SAT. </p>

<p>For engineering, think about MIT, Stanford, Caltech, and UC Berkeley. I know Stanford offers substantial financial aid, if you need it. </p>

<p>As for being an international student, don’t worry too much about it. Tons of top colleges are flooded with international kids, not one more than another, so just do the best you can with your academics, and have some good safeties/matches lined up. </p>
