Hi guys! I’m currently a first-year student at UCLA and am planning on transferring to the following colleges next year.
Bentley University (never applied)
Carnegie Mellon (waitlisted)
Claremont Mckenna (waitlisted)
University of Chicago (never applied)
University of Pennsylvania (rejected)
Stanford University (rejected EA)
Swarthmore University (never applied)
Boston College (accepted)
The parenthesis next to each college signifies how I did with my high school applications last year. I’m in a bit of a unique situation in that I am planning on being recruited for a sport. The following schools have said that they would send in their interest with the admission officers for the following schools:
Bentley University
Swarthmore University
University of Chicago
Claremont Mckenna College
As far as UCLA, I am currently a pre-business economics major with a 3.82 GPA. My extracurricular activities carried over from high school as well as new activities from college are strong, although not SUPER exceptional. I also am posting my high school stats in case it may provide a better “chance me”

Essays I would rate as 7.5-8.5/10.
Recs are decent - unfortunately at UCLA, class sizes are like 500 students so professors are hard to reach. Therefore, I had to ask my TAs for a letter of rec. I’m confident that they sent at least decent recommendations, but not coming from professors might be a disadvantage.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
