Your GPA and SAT scores are on the low side for UD. However your rigor of HS courses is very good and UD does put an emphasis on this in their admission assessments. UD has become inceasingly popular with New York (especially Long Island) residents. After NJ the largest number of OOS students in the class of 2015 were from NY (around 600-many from LI). Therefore I suspect that UD gets a corresponding large number of applicants from NY so his “might” be a slight negative. With your impressive Softball accomplishments did you possibly apply as a potential student athelete? If so this might be in your favor. With the progressive increased level of competition for admission UD has been experiencing it is becoming increasingly difficult to predict odds for acceptance. IMHO, due to the rigor of your HS courses, you are at the very least competitive for admission. Unfortunately you won’t find out until mid-March so it would be wise to have a back-up plan in place. Best wishes to you.
