chance me please

Hi, I am an american permanent resident with Indian education (i am an Indian) I want to know if i can get admission into Georgia Tech .

I apply in October early action plan this year.

Assume that i write all the essays and stuff with average-good rating. Moreover does my international education and race affect my chance. If yes please tell how and is it good or bad that i am internationally educated.

------------ACADEMICS---------------

-grade 10 = 9.2/10
-grade 11 = 1st term 79.2% ( INDIAN HIGH SCHOOL IS VERY TOUGH)
= 2nd term-75%.
= Overall - 75.something %
-grade 12 = will send, haven't given the exams right now.

-SAT I = CR-650, Writing-660, Math-790 .
= total - 2100/2400 and 1440/1600.

-SAT II = will give physics and Math IIC. expecting greater than 780 in Maths and a 800 in physics

------------COCURRICULARS----------

-Volunteer work in an organisation promoting education among poor. ( each one teach one)
here i basically taught those who couldn't go to school basic English and Math. Have the certificate.

-I also have 3-4 more such volunteer work certificates. I am not writing them all down as it would take time. Just that all are of volunteer work in fields of education, Disaster managment etc.

-LORs from physics teacher and math teacher.

------------PERSONAL---------------

-I am pretty good a Maths (specially calculus).i am gonna include that in SOPs and essays (somehow).

-My real brother who is 6 years older than me got accepted into it for MTech in EE. I want to do B.Tech and M.tech( if i get the option) in CE.It says on their site that they consider Alumini relation. Well, this is not exactly a "'Alumini" relation..but does this count?

Please tell me can i get into GA Tech...Thankyou for your consideration in advance

You need to convert your grades into some American standard. What’s your rank at your school?

we are not ranked in india moreover no need to convert scores as universities do not need converted scores (converted scores do not do justice to our GPAs as indian education is quite tough…i have seen your AP papers. That level physics, maths is like the normal level here. I could score easily 5s and 4s WITHOUT even studying, not bragging but thats the truth. and its just not me, any public school kid could do that on your APs.)

Your SAT I score is low. I would recommend studying and taking it again.
Here’s the Mid-50% for this years class.

Mid-50% SAT: 2000 - 2210

I’d say you are currently a maybe. Why? Because that’s the mid-50%. You are in the 50% range. That may not be good enough. A lot of kids got rejected last year with better SAT’s than yours. Plus they now use the common app and the competition just went up.
Good luck.
