Gpa 3.96 UW, 10 AP courses
Bio 4, HuG 5, US History 5, Chem, Lang 4, Lit, physics C 4, calculus AB, CompSci 4, Us govt
All without scores I am now taking, took all but APHuG my junior year.
SAT 1930 ( I know it's crap)
Sat subject chem 660 and us history 750
I have been varsity xc and track 4 years and placed well at the state meet this year I a competitive state. Faced lots of adversity along the way.
Involved with a search and rescue program, NHS, and my church. I
Essays felt solid, took a bit of a risk on one.
Plan to major in biochemistry and want to do research science as a career, made this apparent in application
What are my chances for Rice and Stanford? If you need anything else just comment

<p>Kudos to you for keeping a high GPA with 10 AP’s; there are a lot of kids who can’t do that. Colleges will definitely appreciate this even if you SAT score is a tad low. Stanford is going to really like the fact that you were a varsity athlete for four years.
Even with all of this, your SAT score is still really dragging down your chances at these schools. My advice to you is to retake them if you really want to been seen as a solid applicant at Stanford and Rice. Otherwise it’s really hard to say what the crazy admissions people will decide.

<p>Reach both schools. Your SAT and SATII scores are extremely low for extremely competitive schools. Try getting recruited.</p>
