chance me please?

I am a senior from NY in a private catholic school on Long Island. was thinking about applying ED or EA but afraid of what to do with aid ( the college board npc said i could get a ton but I’m not sure how accurate it is)
I am in all honors classes with an 88.5 three year average (82 freshman, 90 sop, 93.4 junior year)
got a 29 ACT (27 eng, 27 math, 28 science, 34 reading)
1900 SAT (660 reading, 590 math, 650 writing)
I am part of:
Culinary Club (all years)
Spanish Club (2 years)
Senior leaders
science club (one year)
science research club (just made thus year)
i volunteered to clean my town and area after Hurricane Sandy
I volunteered at a horse barn with a riding program that is meant for therapy for special needs kids, but i had to stop volunteering cause i couldn’t get there any more
i have begun to volunteer at a hospital because of the ending of the program
i was a lifeguard during the summer of 2014, and had a full time job in the city for the summer of 2015 and am in the process of getting a job for weekends and after school

I am a twin and with a single mother and we were heavily effected by Hurricane Sandy, which is what i might write my essay about. my recs are gonna be good and the essay most likely will be also.

Go ahead and take that ACT again if possible - practice and bump it up a point or two. I’d put some focus on that science research club. Most schools - northeastern is no exception - definitely want to up their STEM output.

Also, if memory serves, we recently bumped up our financial aid, so hopefully you can get some money out of that.

You have a decent chance - come visit if you have the time!

I’m actually visiting tomorrow! Hope I have a chance it’s such an amazing school!

Are u a student/admissions officer or something julianstanley?

If financial aid is a concern, you should apply RD (or the non-binding EA option). Because aid is uncertain, you will be best off being able to compare offers and make an informed financial decision.
