@constantscreams Thanks and I specifically avoided that topic just because of how expected it would be.

Update I got into UMDCP today!
You have a fantastic chance for every school. As with all schools that are Georgetown caliber, it’s kind of a fluke/roll of the dice deal, but you’re certainly qualified. Ecuadorian seems like a huge bonus, and your EC’s and test scores are outstanding. I’d be shocked if you get rejected by any of these schools. Ohio State seems kind of (hate to say this) beneath your high levels of achievement, aim for the stars! Best of luck!
I think you are pretty much a lock for all of those schools, but Georgetown, as mentioned a couple times above is very hard to get into. I like your chances there, but it’s never a lock for a school as selective as them.
I got into OSU today!!
Providence College: Safety
Loyola University Maryland: Safety
Boston College: High Match
Northeastern: Reach but I think your test scores give you a good shot
Boston University: Match (I am confident you will get in)
University of Maryland College Park: Match
Ithaca College: Safety
University of San Diego: Safety
American University: High match
Ohio State University: Match
Georgetown: Reach (I think you do have a good chance, though)
It looks like you have a pretty good shot to make it into all of these! Great job! Just out of curiosity what is your top choice as of now?
Providence College: Safety
Loyola University Maryland: Safety
Boston College: High Match
Northeastern: Match
Boston University: Match
University of Maryland College Park: Match
Ithaca College: Safety
University of San Diego: Safety
American University: High match
Ohio State University: Safety (you got in!)
Georgetown: Low Reach
Good Luck!
Can you chance me:

@experiment626 my top choice is american university in their honors college if I don’t into the honors program their it’d still be number one for me followed by georgetown and ohio state
oh sorry, american is a math
I think you will get into all, but Georgetown is of course extremely competitive. I was admitted EA to both Northeastern and BC, and my stats and clubs are pretty similar to yours (higher sat score, lower gpa). Also don’t forget that being an URM helps more than you would think. Good luck, hope you get into Georgetown!
First off, I’d like to say - don’t be stressed, relax and enjoy your senior year. You’ve already submitted your applications and there is nothing you can do to change them. Your application looks stellar and I think you can get into all of them, with Georgetown and Boston College being to the only ones that are difficult. Best of luck with the rest of your senior year, I hope you get into all your colleges and pick the one that you want to go to!
I would say you have a 75% chance at most of these schools – you have great stats. Georgetown is no doubt your biggest challenge but you seem like you’d fit in.
Just as it seems a lot here are saying, you have great chances for all of these schools. The only one you should be concerned about is Georgetown. I’ve learned from experience that for schools that selective/competitive, anyone can get denied no matter how great they fit the bill. But you are definitely a competitive applicant!
Providence college - Accept
Loyola University Maryland - Accept
Boston College - Accept esp. with your background
Northeastern - I think you will likely get accepted. You are at the top of the applicant pool.
Boston University - You will probably get accepted.
University of Maryland College Park - Accept
Ithaca College - Accept
University of San Diego - Accept
American University - Probable Acceptance
Ohio State University - Accepted
Georgetown - This one will be close. It depends how much you stand out which mostly boils down to the strength of your essays.
When you get all of those acceptances back, be ready to make a decision! I’d start making a list of what colleges you prefer over other ones. GL
I think that you have as good a chance at Georgetown as anyone else! Same goes for NE’ern. Your ECs are outstanding, esp. the track/community service. Are you leaning towards Georgetown because it’s Jesuit? Just wondering
I’d say basically everything else is a high match/v low reach with the exception of Loyola, UMD, USD, American, and Ithaca – I believe those are very good matches, or even safeties!
Best of luck!!!
Looking great in terms of acceptance at all of your choices, the only exception being Georgetown. Well done on your search, you seem to have identified lots of matches!
Best of luck with Georgetown!
Good stats… I feel like you’ll get into all but the ones that maybe on the fence is BC and Georgetown
Thanks for the chance! You have a very strong application, especially with your ECs. My only concern would be your GPA, but your URM status, essays, and volunteer work should more than compensate for that.
Great shot at all. (You’re right though thf georgetown is a reach for everyone)
