Hooks???
Full Pay

Essays
How much weight is put on the essays? Don’t a lot of parents/paid people write essays for applicants?

That being said my essays were pretty good and I liked them a lot.

Interviews
Exeter and Andover went pretty well.

SSAT
99th percentile

Can you please give me a percentage probability that I might be admitted to Exeter or Andover?

Hopefully you’ve done your research here and with acceptances below 20%, you know it means that a good number of qualified students will not be accepted. Have you applied to more schools than just A and E?

Your background is great and it will not be a reason for you not being accepted – not having enough seats/beds/faculty is the real issue and they can’t accept all qualified students. Full pay could be a hook only if your family can build a new building or endow a scholarship for an entire segment of the school.

you have a very impressive resume so best of luck to you! It is very important to note though that not a lot of “parents/paid people” write kids essays for them. Parents might help edit but it should be you. Schools can tell if it was written by an adult.

@134rc13d2et213r2 Being full pay is not a hook. Your stats are obviously impressive. However, your non academic activities are all academic in scope. Your resume is narrow. I feel this could hurt you.

I am really concerned that you think parents and paid people write the essays. I would think parents and teachers help edit - but not write them for the applicant.
