GPA: 3.8 unweighted (extremely competitive school)
SAT: 2020 (will retake in fall)
have done summer programs at w&m in the past
really really really good essays
excellet recs
have taken just about the hardest classes offered</p>

<p>sat II: italian: 780 spanish: 780 math i: 640 us history: 600</p>

<p>AP's thus far: spanish: 5 italian: 5 english lang: 4 us history: 2 (don't know what happend...how much will this affect my chances?, do i even need to send it? please help)</p>

<p>Don't worry about your AP score. You don't send an AP score report until after you're admitted. When you are applying you self-report AP scores, so just leave your one bad score off.</p>

<p>That said, I think you're looking to be in great shape. However, W&M doesn't go solely by stats when admitting applicants (unless you do early decision, in which case they seem to not place as much emphasis on your essays), make sure you do well on the essays. That summer thing you did at W&M will help you out a bit. They really like to see interest.</p>

<p>prepschoolgirl, IMO, you'll get accepted, especially if you rank at the top of your class. We're in state, and my D had a strong academic background but her ec's were not spectacular - and she got in.</p>

<p>You're in, unless there's something major that you forgot to mention. Being in-state helps A-LOT.</p>
