your comment is valued
thanks in advance

ur list is too ambitious
uc berkeley is impossible
however u can bank on umichigan and carnegie mellon

My turn!

Current school: University of Houston
Accepted: To USC for Fall '07
GPA: 4.0/4.0 with 45 units (Going into my 2nd year; sophomore)
Major: Business
Excellent essay and decent EC's

What should I do? Go to USC or reject USC and stay at my current school and apply for fall '08 to NYU, UC-Berkeley or Virginia.

USC is an amazing school, but my dream schools have always been either UC-Berkeley or NYU, while USC and Virginia have been my other top choices.

I could possibly attend USC and then apply to those schools listed above, but I think the admissions committee would think i'm some nomad who can't seem to settle in one place.

Any shot at Berkeley or NYU or Virginia?

Eh, any response...?

Hey ak, nice job hijacking someone else's thread.

haha, yea good job akbaby :]

but i don't think your list is too ambitious. true, UCB will be near impossible. but you can count on purdue and university of illinois.

Haha, I mean after accepting Californians, the next most admits from UC Berkeley are from Texas, so I might have a shot. NYU I don't mind either.

I've gotten $19,000 from USC so far in grants and all and am hoping for $5,000 more so that can cover up my housing. Any ideas where I can find that?

And about the thread, I just didn't want to make another one, lol. Sorry whoevers thread this was! :-/

We're not gonna answer your questions akbaby unless you make your own thread.

to azbycx700 you have good #'s, just not sure about caltech but all others seem like a good chance, write some good essays.
