what is the reputation of WU?

I assume you mean UW. It is the state flagship school, top research university and considered to be the best university in the Pacific Northwest. In fact, it is even considered to be an honorary "Public Ivy". Usually the top students from the in state high schools attend UW.

Is this a good school to prepare for dentistry?

UW has top notch medical programs, so I would assume so. Check out the website if you want more info: University of Washington

How is the campus?

Quite beautiful. It is not located in the heart of Seattle but a little off to the side, still close enough for a big city feel. The campus is pretty big, located next to water, nice trees, also a bustling university district.

Does it have good science departments?

UW has the best medical program in the nation; it is a school that's pretty big on the sciences so yes, it has excellent science departments.

Is it diverse?

YES. It's located in Seattle, a very culturally diverse location. Liberal though; so maybe not as politically diverse.

Also - about your chances. Your unweighted GPA is too low; the average UW GPA of entering freshman is up to 3.7 now. Out of state is also not an advantage. More AP classes senior year might help you; and have you taken the SAT yet?

Sorry but I'm gonna have to say slight reach to reach; I didn't hear of many people who got in from in-state with a GPA lower than 3.6 (not saying it's not possible, but just not likely).
