[ *] Subjective (ECs, special circumstances, etc):
Active member of the Environmental Club, made secretary junior year. Been with the same volunteer program for 2 years now, 100+ hours obviously. Also have other volunteer hours from habitat for humanity, etc. I went on a student educational tour to Europe for three weeks. Played JV lacrosse for one year. Took 4 APs and will take 3 more this upcoming school year.

[ *] major strength/weakness:
Strengths: I think I could write a pretty killer essay about my experiences with my volunteer program. I've been helping this blind woman for two years now and I have incredible things to say about that. She's also somewhat of a celebrity; not that it would make a difference or help me.
Weakness: My GPA. At best it's going to be an 88, but I was hoping I could really improve my Senior year and show them that I can and am willing to improve and get my grades up, even though senior year doesn't go towards your GPA. Also I don't have any noteworthy titles or clubs.
[ *] Other Factors/questions:
Will it help that my sister is an alumni? She graduated in '06 from the Ross school and also graduated from uMich's graduate school for an accelerated teacher's program.

I'm also going to apply early response so will that help me in any way? I know my GPA is going to sink me and I probably won't have a very big chance of getting in.

Thanks everyone, and any tips to help increase my changes in getting in would be great.

bump bump :) pleasee
