major in mathematics with an imperfect math SAT score and a SAT II math I (not IIc). Your other 2 SAT II scores are pretty low. You really want a 700+.

Also, the mathematics major came out of the blue. You don't have anything on that sample resume that would show that you are math minded.

ive been on math club since 7th grade.. and ive taken all advanced honors math courses, scoring at least a 97 every quarter since i started high school math in 8th grade. and im currently in ap calc with about a 99 average...

your ranking is really good but I'll be perfectly honest- I'd be really happy if you got in because you seem like a nice kid but I wouldn't be surprised at the opposite.

You see, my school is crowded with perfect SAT IIc scores, perfect SAT math section scores, math olympiad participants and people who are in multi-variable calculus (beyond AP). Considering your competition, I'd say you could be in better standing. However, if major isn't a consideration (and it is likely not) than you have as good an app as anyone else. I'd say there is ~2/3 chance of acceptance.

wow i havent posted on college confidential in a long time cuz im a freshman in college now... but necrophiliac you sound like a complete ******. who gives hoot that you have all these special math people at your school. stop raping bodies, maybe its making you retarded. but anyhow, i think you have good chances heathernicole. not too many girls with a 780 Math on the SAT

I don't think he's trying to be offensive, you're choosing to interpret it that way. He's just trying to be realistic. I might add my own interpretation and say that your post is more offensive than his.

birth your post is entirely inappropriate. I'm only a creature of my environment and can judge from only my vantage point. I know a ton of people who would be more impressive with math scores/ math-oriented ambitions.

I'm not ruling anything out, I'm just giving my opinion. And besides, forums are in existence so a variety of people could give their opinions for the question's author to make a judgment.

thank you afitscher, necrophiliac, and birthofthecool for your intake
and good luck with your colleges too =)

ps your school sounds insane necrophiliac lol
