chance me pleaseee!! (ED I class '14)

First of all a little question:
I can't visit the campus (unfortunately) because I don't live anywhere close to Atlanta. So I don't think I'll be able to show much demonstrated interest. But I want to know if you attend a small admission seminar with an Emory rep that comes to your school, would that count?

these are my stats, and I'm applying for ED I.

UW GPA: 3.5 (low, I know. hopefully ED I helps?)

WEIGHTED: 3.8

HS Course Selection: all honors, AP

SAT I: 2280 superscored

SAT II: Japanese 790; Math IIC 800; taking literature in October (expecting 700~730)

AP: biogloy 5; us hist 4; psychology 4; english 4; taking 5 AP next year

Volunteer: taught English at an orphanage in Japan; played in a church band; piano accompanist for a small musical group

EC's: viola (school orchestra) 4 years; painting; journalism/yearbook illustrator

awards: national spanish exam - 2 awards; drawing/painting regional and national award; viola competition in 10th grade and another one next week (hoping to win.)

hook: NONE!

I'm still trying to research the school in depth so I can mention specific things in my "why emory?" essay.

I have some things I don't really want to post on here.. it's regarding my SAT and GPA. It'd be great if I can get touch with an Emory student (through CC. PM-ing?) so I can ask some questions in detail. If not, that's fine I guess.

But please chance me!!

bummpppppp

For the demonstrated interest, that would count.
Also make sure you order the free Emory DVD.

You have a decent change, I would reeally bring up that GPA.
