I am currently a junior at an extremely competitive public high school in New York. These are the colleges I am thinking of applying to next year.

NYU Stern
Brown
Columbia
Wharton School or the Huntsman program at Upenn
Fordham
Boston University
Boston College
Harvard
Dartmouth
Georgetown

First, I am a white latina from Brazil. I immigrated to the U.S. when I was a 10. I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish fluently. I am not am not a naturalized American yet. My family will be able to pay for my college education.

Freshman: All honor classes, all A+

Sophomore: All honor classes and 2 AP's (Psychology and European History), all A+, and 5's on both AP tests

Junior (where I am now): I am taking 4 AP classes (Lang, U.S. History, Physics B, and Statistics) and the rest are honor classes. I am also taking a college business law course my school offers where students who complete the course receive college credit. Ultimately, I want to apply to law school (Columbia most likely), so this class is quite important to me. This year, I expect mostly A+, an A here and there, and maybe a B+ in my math class (infamously the hardest class in my entire school). It won't be a perfect academic year, but I expect it to be pretty good.

Senior: I don't know anything of this year yet (of course), but I expect to take plenty of AP classes and have pretty good grades.

SAT: 2250
ACT: 33

Extracurriculars:
DECA (secretary this year, VP or president next year)
Mathletes (officer)
Speech and Debate (captain this year, maybe also president next year)

GPA:
My school has a very strange scale to measure GPA. Mine is in the top 10% or even less.

Other:
I volunteered in an orphanage in Brazil teaching children English
This summer I will volunteer teaching english at a center for education of the hispanic community of my neighborhood
I have created my own charity focused on helping different programs for the poor in Brazil

I have moved schools A LOT. Currently, I have been to 7 different schools. This is a result of my family's love of moving houses and therefore having me attend different districts. The schools that I am in now I came to as a sophomore. I am telling you guys this because my counselor told me that apparently colleges like to see students that are able to switch schools and still adapt and prosper.

That's all, folks! I would love to hear your thoughts. Possibly even give your suggestions of other great schools and programs I should look into? I am considering studying public policy or business.

THANK YOU!
