I think you probably get in at some point. However, it’s very possible that you get deferred. The main thing that gives me pause is your class rank is around 6%. 75 percent of the admitted class last year were in the top 3% at their respective schools. Notre Dame has publicly stated that given the wide range of how schools grade, weight GPA etc, that the class rank can be a good indicator as they expect “the cream will always rise to the top”.
Your school may be very competitive and highly reputable. In those cases,. the admissions staff knows that full well and a 10% class rank could be just as good as a top 1% at a non-highly ranked school.
