With a UF GPA of 3.8, you are in the lower quarter of applicants. Last year, 75% of those admitted had a gpa of 4.3 or better. UF is never say never but I think UF is a reach for you. Make sure you have your safeties lined up. Let us know what happens in February.
I will but my non uf adjusted weighted gpa is around a 4.35
@2024Burner so you have a UF 3.8 and an SAT 0f 1390 and ranking is 100/790… I think everything is great… being top 100 of a large school is awesome… unfortunately you re competing with the 100 kids in front of you… maybe not all 100 but probably 75 of them…depending on your school and how many kids they get in, it might be tough… but we hear about a lot of great stories with kids in your range that get in… and deservedly so! good luck… we are 4 weeks away and almost over. driving everyone bonkers that its a month after FSU now.
@jhmoney Yeah I understand what you’re saying but for some reason my school has really low SAT scores my sat is around top ten in my school
@2024Burner SAT/ACT is less important than grades and rigor for UF Admissions.
I find it hard to believe that you would be able to know where your SAT ranks in a class of almost 800 and that in a class that size that 1390 is top 10. Sorry, not buying either.
I agree with @jhmoney, you are on the bubble, based on what you have told us. There is always more to an application than the numbers, so anything is possible.
