Chance Me! Rising Senior

<p>Hope you guys can give me an idea of where I am headed/ what I have to do in the coming months! Thanks in advance and will chance back.</p>

<p>Here is my Resume (4.0 GPA scale):</p>

<li><p>Sophomore Year: 4.108 GPA - English 2 B+, Algebra 2 Honors A, Physics honors A, Asian Honors Humanities A ( paired with an online Japanese course which i got a 99 on), Spanish 3 Honors A, Theology A</p></li>
<li><p>Junior year: 4.153 GPA- English 3 AP A, Chemistry Honors A, Pre Calc Honors A, AP Spanish A-, AP US history A, Theology A</p></li>
<li><p>Senior Courses: AP calc, AP Physics, Honors Spanish 5, AP English, AP Modern Euro History, Social Ethics</p></li>

<p>I have finished all Years as Summa Cum Laude (3.9 GPA +) and i am in the top 2% of my class.</p>

Chem and Physics - not so great</p>

<p>Inducted into NHS Fall 2011</p>

<p>Varsity Rowing: 2010 - Present: Fall Winter and Spring Participation
- LW Varsity, and 2nd Varsity</p>

<p>Work Experience:
- Janitor for 2 months - reconstructed and clean vacant office space
- 30 + Hrs/ Week </p>

<p>Extra Curricular Activities and Community Service:
- Appalachia Service Trip for One Week June 2011
- Church Volunteer: 2010 - Present 70+ Hrs
- Co-Founder and VP of club that helps children with disabilities
- Participant every weekend at service that teaches disabled children to play soccer</p>

<p>Personally I think you have a great chance at most of these except perhaps Georgetown and Notre Dame, which are always gambles. But your EC’s are spectacular, as is your GPA. The only thing I would suggest is seriously upping your test scores. I did well on the SAT, but I found the ACT so much easier so if your scores are unable to get into the ranges you need I would advise taking the ACT. Good luck!</p>

<p>I really don’t get this, how do people in the top of their class with APs do so poor on the SAT? If you manage to get 90s in those classes, it shouldnt be hard to get a 90 on the 9th grade level SAT which is a 1420~</p>
