I know my SATS are crazy low, but im going to retake them in october. I also know acceptance is like completly based on audition; do you think i could get at least accepted in a B.A. Theatre? Ive done like 25 other shows in my lifetime so i do have a resume to fill out. What about acceptance in any other major? maybe... computer science or graphic design.

You probably know the answer, but it is hard to say anything without knowing how your audition goes. And I would not recommend applying under a different major if you're not really interested. Bad idea.

You already know your weakness so get working on that. I might also take another SAT II...the US History one is pretty low. Maybe mathematics might boost you.

Theatre is so different. My daughter is also applying...her stats aren't so good. But she is a professional actor/model with some decent credits, so who knows? I only "know" this: if your gpa is in the 2.0 range...and you are the "star" of a show...sorry...the admissions committee can't do anything to let you in. This was said to us during our tour. So, again, it depends on your audition. (no pressure).

It's about the audition and also the rest of the cohort that's being admitted - they are building a company so they are looking for a cohesive yet diverse group. I believe that this year there is a call-back component (I read that on the website, anyway). I think GPA is more important than SATs. You should audition if you want it - Truly, you do not know until try.

I was actually in a summer program at SC with 1 of the 2 people that do all the auditions for the program. I also spoke to the associate dean in charge of admissions ... What she said was basically that if the audition team wants you and you don't have an awful G.P.A. (the 3.2 and below range) then you're pretty much fine.
