2.93 gpa - My only F was in law of agency and I'm not sure if it'll transfer because of it being a real estate occupation class.
No ec's
Intending to transfer into general studies. Then internally to Mays after 30 hours.
Turning in my application in spring 2011. I'll have 23 hours when I turn in my application and after spring I'll have 35.

you are going to have to hope for general studies - I see no chance of Mays with these stats. Mays is extremely difficult to transfer in as a sophomore.
You will first get rejected totally for A&M. You do not have the required 24 hours to transfer, it is an automatic rejection. They will look at your stats - and may offer you a second change to send in your transcript at the end of your Spring semester. It will most likely be late June before you will hear if you are accepted as a transfer student because of this delay.
Unfortunantly, that F will show up on your transcript and will not look good. It for sure wont transfer, but it is there in all its glory for the A&M admissions people to see.
If I were you, I would put your best work into Spring semester. I would take the official A&M tour. I would go to a remote admissions center and speak to an admissions specialist - they will help you.
Best of luck to you!

Sorry, I forgot to add my other PHED credit. I’ll have 24 when my application is turned in.

Thanks for the reply kl. Is there any way for me to explain that F on my transcript? I feel like if I can provide an explanation for it and by showing my high marks for all of my other classes then it might be a big factor. Do they look at how long ago the classes were?

I have plenty of volunteer experience with the Freemasons & Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, probably 400+ hours worth. Does this also affect decisions?

I don’t know anyway of explaining your F - with the exception of in one of the essays? If you havent turned in your application, then maybe this would be a good area for one of your essays. (My daughter explained on her optional essay why she wasnt in the top 10% - her high school didn’t give any additonal weight for AP, Dual Credit, or Honors courses - all courses counted the same. Some kids opted out of the harder courses to stay in top 10% for automatic admission. She chose the more rigorous course that would prepare her for A&M. This choice landed her in the 12% - but she brought in 24+ credit hours to A&M)
I really don’t have any other answer for this question, I wish I could help.
