Your tests are a little low for Tulane, your ACT is better than you SAT, and your APs are low. The thing that helps you most is that you’re an URM (Tulane is about 70% white), but I’d say it’s still a reach.

I’m gonna save you some time and tell you to not even bother applying. Tulane does not let anyone in regular decision. If you want any chance of getting in, you have to apply Early Decision, Early Action, or Early Decision 2. Tulane’s Regular Decision Acceptance Rate is under 1%. It’s not even worth filling out the application.

URM hook is helpful, but as stated above, RD is extremely difficult. Not sure what would prevent you from applying EA other than lack of time, but if you want in you have to get into line early.

I believe the EA deadline is over and I have applied to another school ED so I cannot ED2 until I hear back from them. So I think I have to apply RD unfortunately

When will you hear back from the ED school? ED2 at Tulane is not closed yet. I think the deadline is Jan 6.

@chardonMN I was accepted ED to WashU! Thank you for commenting though, I appreciate it!

congratulations!
