<p>I currently have a 2.91 at UCSC and want to transfer to one of these four schools: ucsd, uci, ucla, or ucsb. I know my chances are grim, but is there a decent possibility that one of these top tier ucs will accept me? O yea, im a biology major if that matters. Do any of you guys know anyone with a 2.__ that successfully transferred from uc to uc?</p>

<p>you chances are slim at best. You won’t get into UCLA or SD. The others look grim too.</p>
<p>I would characterize your chances as worse than grim.</p>
<p>If you have all prerequisites done and a killer essay, then an OK chance at sb or Irvine. Doesn’t hurt to apply, but I definitely wouldn’t count on it.</p>
<p>You definitely have a chance of transferring. If you completed your prerequisites for your major and write a beautiful personal statement, there is some chance you would get into one of those schools. A kid got into SD with a 3.1 GPA last year from UCSC. It is definitely possible.</p>
<p>merman, are you a sophomore standing at ucsc? I am also planning on transferring from ucr to uci as a psych major, but the only problem I see is that I’m a junior right now. what are your thoughts on that? anyone?</p>
