UC Transfer

I'm currently attending UC Riverside. I have a 3.67 as biology major. I Applied to UCLA, UCSD, UCB, and UCI. What are my chances to get in?

not very good. inter-uc transfers are very rare. unless you gave a great reason on why you want to transfer in your essay you have no chance.(keep in mind--explaining that ucla is a better school wont work because the uc's think evey school offers a great education.) sorry to break the bad news... uctransfers are like 90% ccc students and something like 2% uc-transfer students. if you were a ccc student you'd have a pretty good shot at uci, but SD,B, & l.a are reaches..looks like you're going to have to stay at ucr.... SORRY!

I think you have a good shot @ UCI...not sure about the rest

don't listen to them, you have a very good chace as long as you have a fairly compelling reason for your transfer

Hmmm... i'm from UCR... i got accepted to UCSB in march for business econ... my gpa is 3.7...

my friend from UCR has 2.8 gpa (poly sci major) and got into UCSD (elenor)? isnt that a little strange?

and u can check your ucsd application online right now, i believe they finished all applications including transfers

nemzy, I am still pending.

i just checked ucsd-- nothing yet for me

ucsd still pending for me as well.

same here...

i am still pending

nemzy--you suck! no one has heard anything from sd... damn newb

i got into SD like 3 weeks ago...

nemzy how did your friend get in? everyone else that got into sd, what were your stats?
