Hi! I know it’s a reach bc I’m out OOS but I’m curious if people think I have any chance.
IB diploma candidate (we aren’t told predicted scores) so total of 13 Honors classes not including senior year
UC gpa; UW: 3.94, W: 4.5
Act: 34
English: 36
Reading: 36
Math: 32
Science: 30
ECs (summarized)
Free lance photography, two varsity/ jv sports, letter in community service, other random clubs and stuff I find less important to mention
Overall you look like a competitive applicant for UCLA but consider it a Reach school regardless of your qualifications.
Intended major?
What is your capped weighted UC GPA and only AP/IB or DE courses (UC transferable) get the extra weighting in the UC GPA for OOS applicants? HS designated Honors classes are not weighted for OOS applicants.

Can you and your family afford $65K/year to attend with little to no financial aid for OOS students?
UCLA Freshman profile for OOS admits (25th-75th percentile):
Fully weighted UC GPA: 4.46-4.86
Unweighted UC GPA: 3.93-4.00
ACT: 33-35
Overall Freshman admits:
2018 Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 4.20 or above capped weighted and not major specific:
UCLA: 41%
2019 UC capped weighted GPA averages along with 25th-75th percentile range:
UCLA: 4.25 (4.18-4.32)
25th - 75th percentiles for ACT composite + language arts
UCLA: 29-35
Capped is a 4.25 and intended major is english
All honors are either AP or IB
Like I stated above, you are competitive so all you can do is sit and wait for your decision. UCLA does not admit by major for the College of Letters and Sciences but you are definitely in the mix.
Best of luck.
