Chance me... UCSB, UCSD

Junior transfer from Loyola Marymount University
3.6 cumulative GPA
dean's list
great essays + recs (1 from a professor and one from the CEO of a marketing firm I have been interning at)
extracurriculars are good (President of 3 dorms)

I am a Washington State resident

Chances at:

UCSB
UCSD

what major?

ucsb would be business

and ucsd (due to not having an undergrad business school i believe) would be management science or political science. would it matter in this regard one being harder to get into than the other?

Also please chance me at UCI

highly impacted majors are harder to transfer into, but your stats are competitive for these schools. it’s really difficult to chance you though…can never really tell with non-CCC/out of state transfers. but i’d say you have a good shot at ucsd/i and great shot at ucsb.

btw…UC’s don’t accept letters of rec

What would be the “competitive majors?”

And does UCI have a B-school?

thanks

UCSB has a business economics major, not straight business. just wanted to point that out.

i’d say you have ucsb and ucsd, i dont really know how selective uci is.

Yup they do it’s brand new and this will be the first year they will be taking transfers. They are supposedly only going to admit 15 transfers for the business admin major.

They also have business econ which is not through the business school.

By the way, UC’s don’t take recommendation letters.

only 15 for business admin… does that include like marketing… accounting etc that fall under business?

^ All the info your looking for right here.
