UCSD: Match

Good Luck.

You stand a good chance. Your GPA is average by their standards, but your coursework is rigorous and they will take it into consideration.

Thanks for your replies! Do you know if my SAT scores are competitive for the school, as well as the engineering department?

@whosonFirst Average GPA? A 4.29 UC GPA is definitely above UCSD engineering averages.
@asdfg98009‌ UCSD CoE admits usually average around 2050, so you’d be at the middle of the pack. Your subject tests are mediocre, but nbd. I say match overall.

Thanks! Haha I think 4.29 is close to the capped UC GPA. Will mechanical engineering/electrical engineering, which are currently impacted majors, affect my chances? Also, when are UCSD decisions released?

I just wanted to update you guys. I got into UCSD by phone yesterday! Thanks for your replies! They helped me out a lot.

.

Congrats!
