In general:
Over 50 hours of volunteering
9 leadership positions held over Junior and Senior year.

Thanks!!

btw, I’m talking about UMich, Ann Arbor.
And I forgot to add an extra detail:
Made a huge jump in academics in my Senior year.

For NYU, I’m submitting my 3 HL subjects instead of SAT

not as an international with a 1610 and mich and nyu.

sorry i don’t get what you are saying. do you mean that i can’t get into mich and nyu?

Your stats are a little on the low side! But your extracurriculars are great! You need to improve your SATs, you have better chance of finding a unicorn than getting into NYU and Michigan with SAT score below 2000. I hope you have applied to more colleges, and safety schools!

Hey! I know I messed up my SATs but theres no way to fix it. But I mentioned that I won’t be submitting my SATS to NYU but 3 HL subjects instead.Do I still stand a better chance? As with safety schools, I’ve gotten into 5 universities in the UK and 1 in Canada. University of Toronto is my first choice currently

I don’t see a GPA. UM admits holistically on these six points:

Unweighted GPA
Course rigor
Test scores
Essays
Recommendations
Extracurriculars

Your GPA combined with rigor and everything else being top notch may help you overcome your test scores ( which are not weighted as heavily at UM as elsewhere- GPA /rigor is king ).

I am not sure how we can judge your essays as being amazing. Hopefully they are.

I think UM is likely a reach for you.

@Decorative22 Sorry my school doesn’t have a GPA. When I applied they told me to not worry about it. I’m glad someone is saying UM is a chance for me! I really wanna get in. its my first choice.
