What are my chances of getting into the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, University of Wisconsin- Madison, University of Illinois-Ubana-Champaign, Purdue and Ohio State? My dream school is Michigan but I know that it is the hardest to get into! Also Im from Arizona so idk if that helps???
Also I go to a charter liberal arts school so we dont get to choose our classes! + there are not many clubs at our school! But all of our classes are considered honors! and our school doesnt officially give us our class ranking but i would say im in the top 1-5% ??
My intended major: meteorology!
Your academics are competitive for all these schools. Focus on your essays. Also you should ask yourself if you can afford to pay near full price at these schools because they are state schools so they don’t give much aid to out of state students. Like you said, UMich is obviously the toughest to get into, Madison being the next most selective. Good Luck.
Also I forgot to mention in 9-10th grade, I took Latin 4&5 (I did Latin 1-3 in middle school) and now I’m in my 2nd year of Greek! So I will have 2 years of Latin & 2 years of Greek
@dnstudent26 thanks so much for replying! Yep I know these out of state schools are going to be really expensive, but I’m saving money because I need to get out of Arizona lol
For UMich, try to improve your test score a little bit. It is right below admission average right now. The rest looks fine.
@billcsho ok thank you! What score should I aim for to get in?
@dmb3509 The SAT mid 50 is 1440-1570 this year.
