<p>I am presently a Junior at a Catholic high school in Michigan.</p>

<p>Cumulative GPA: 4.3 weighted, 3.9 unweighted. Top 5(?) percent in my class of 200 students.</p>

<p>I am in the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB courses).</p>

<p>I received a 32 on the ACT</p>

<p>Summer before Sophomore year I won a scholarship to go to and learn about China for 2 weeks through a program funded by the Chinese government.</p>

<p>Summer before Junior year I went to and learned about the Peruvian rainforest and people with a teacher and students for 2 weeks, built a water treatment system for a village in the rainforest.</p>

<p>Also attended forensic psychology classes at Northwestern University in Chicago for 3 weeks.</p>

<p>I presently have a job as a host at a restaurant.</p>

<p>I am 50 percent Iranian (my father was born and raised in Iran) if that helps at all.</p>

<p>I have played piano for 12 years, trumpet for 5, and drums for 4.</p>

<p>I am looking into becoming either a neurosurgeon or forensic psychiatrist which would mean taking pre-med classes.</p>

<p>Can I get into the University of Michigan, Northwestern, College of William and Mary, UCLA, UC-Berkely, or U-W Madison?</p>

<p>(Feel free to suggest any other Universities...)</p>

<p>I think you will get into all of them… but you might want to get other ec’s besides sports even though they are very impressive. However, uc Berkeley is very unpredictable along with ucla… so you never truly know!</p>

<p>I’d say you’ve got a great chance at all of them, while Northwestern might remain a bit of a reach. The UC schools may be low reaches too, as it can be hard to get in OOS.</p>

<p>In at all except maybe for Berkley and Northwestern. UC’s are a bit tough for OOS students and Northwestern is unpredictable, but its not unlikely, I say high match/low reach.</p>
