Chance me: University of Richmond and others

I’m a US citizen who’s lived overseas the past ~8 years, but I’m still technically a VA resident.

Stats and info:

  • white female
  • SAT: 1480, but I’m retaking soon and hopefully will score higher
Essay: 6/5/8 or 6/6/7, but as far as I understand essay doesn’t matter much?
-GPA: ~4.75-- I’m not sure of the unweighted yet though, it’s mostly As or A-s with a few Bs across the years.
I’m doing the IB diploma. I don’t know how much stock US universities put in predicted grades but I’m guessing it will be mostly 6s with perhaps a few 7s.
    ECs:
Y11-12: volunteering with the NGO Children in Families, Social Media content creation and communications

Y11-12: Coaching Debate and MUN students
Y11-12 participating in Debate Club and Model UN
Y11: tutoring ESL student (paid job)
Y10: Managing communications for project raising money to subsidize water filters
Y9-12: regular creative writing-- some accepted to minor lit mags
Y9-10 volunteering: medical chart review and analysis
    Y9-11 backstage crew or acting

    Y9-12: soccer
    -Y9-12: basketball

Essays: this is very subjective so I can’t really say-- I’m generally a strong writer but I don’t really know, decent I hope

Recs: not written yet, I imagine 1 will be fairly strong, 8/10, other unsure

Please chance me for any of the following, including if any merit scholarships come to mind:

In state:
-JMU
-Wheaton
-UVA
-University of Richmond
-William and Mary

Out of state:
Wheaton
Pepperdine
Syracuse
Perhaps Furman, Dickinson, Denison, or other small LAC

Far reaches:
Duke
Penn
Georgetown
Williams
Do you think i have any shot at these? Possibly applying ED to Penn

Thank you so much!

Also: is my list too top heavy? Should I add more safeties if so any recommendations? Forgot to say: planning on studying international relations and pre-med, hope to go into foreign service, medicine, or international health policy. Essays and ECs hopefully show this.
