Will take any feedback thanks a lot.

You have a great profile. Write great essays this summer and you could get into any of these schools

anyone?, would appreciate any feedback.

Most of the school on your list except Virginia and Virginia Tech are going to reaches just because of the acceptance rate. Your grades and SAT scores will merit your application being looked at.

Duke, Northwestern, Stanford-reach. Since your plan on Duke ED and have legacy, you will not get rejected outright. 50/50 on accept or defer into RD round.

WashU/Vandy-low reach/reach. Test scores are there. WashU loves demonstrated interest so communicate your interest (attend college fairs, set up interview, visit). Vandy has ED 2 so use that instead of RD.

BC-match/low match. I would suggest taking this one off the list as BC isn’t that well known for STEM. Replace with BU for a match or Rice for another reach/low reach.

Virginia-match

VaTech-match/safety

@Hamurtle is spot-on in my opinion, and has made an outstanding suggestion regarding Rice University.

Nevertheless, if you are not accepted by Duke & Northwestern, let us know & we will send back our window decals in protest.

Can a Duke prof. write a letter of rec. for a Duke applicant ? Some schools, maybe just a very few, prohibit this (but I could be wrong).

thank you for feedback

thanks a lot.
