Classes: I will have 9 AP classes by the time I graduate. AP world (10th grade), currently in AP US History, AP Calc AB, AP Environmental Science, and AP English Language and Composition (All A’s). Next year I will take four more
SAT: 2000: 670 Math, 640 CR, 670 Writing (plan on taking again and improving)
-I’m a white female and I live in-state

President of an Environmental Club
Secretary of Invisible Children’s club
Vice President of National Art Honor’s Society
Treasurer of the Entrepreneur club
Beta Club
Science Olympiad (one year)
Reading Buddies: all years (read with local elementary kids who are behind)
Tutoring: Math and science (I tutor people at my school)
Local animal shelter volunteer work
Local soup kitchen volunteer work
Summer camp: Went and built houses/ramps for people with marginal incomes and the disabled
Sports: Varsity Swimming (1 year)
Indoor track: 2 years (Captain this year)
Outdoor track: 3 years (Captain this year)
Awards: Highest achievement in biology freshman year
Highest achievement in chemistry sophomore year
Spirit of (my high school) Award

Please let me know any areas that I should improve on. I know my SAT is low but I believe that I can raise it! Also, I plan on taking the SAT subject tests (US history and math 2)

How are you 6th with a perfect GPA? lol

Depends on the classes you take. Honors are 5.0 and ap are 6.0, however, many required classes like P.E. are standard (3.0) which brings it down. I only took 1 AP as a sophomore so I am 6th

I wouldn’t worry about your SAT; UNC is pretty easy to get into instate, and WF is test optional.

UNC: I would be shocked if you don’t get in
WF: match? Hard to say.

Hey there! I got into UNC Chapel Hill EA this year :slight_smile: I’d say you have a great chance of getting into both schools! I wouldn’t worry about your test scores or taking SAT subjects if you can help it - UNC doesn’t require it and you should be able to land into Wake Forest just fine.

You should be a shoo-in for Chapel Hill, especially since you are in-state (as am I). You would still have a very good chance if you were OOS. Wake Forest is test optional, as @Nflpackers96‌ stated earlier, so your SAT (which is only a slight weak point in your application) doesn’t matter. I would be surprised if you didn’t get into Wake Forest, and I would shocked if you did not get into Chapel Hill. If you get into both schools, I hope you will make the right choice and be a Tar Heel :wink: Good luck!

UNC should be really easy for you and you have a really good chance to get into Wake as well.

Uva is a reach because its so hard oos, bring your sat up 100 or so points and it will increase your shot by a good amount
