Agree, if you google “Emory class profile” you will find this as the first posting. http://apply.emory.edu/discover/fastfacts.php You are below the 25th percentile for both ACT and GPA so it is a huge reach.
It is important that you learn to do your own research. Use the internet as well as college guide books (which are probably available at your HS guidance office or library) to get basic admissions information. If your HS has Naviance that is an excellent tool as well.

I hope they didn’t discourage you severely. Do you have any hooks? What do you like about Emory? What aptitude is your writing skills?
Can you retake the ACT in December?
I would say that your ACT, GPA are lower than average. However, in your case, the other parts of the application matters more, like the ECs and Essays. If you do well on those parts, your chance of acceptance would be higher.
