<p>Political Science major, White male, competitive Maryland public school (=IS), unweighted 3.0, weighted 4.5-5, SAT 2230 (one test), 6/7 classes this year alone APs, 4 last year and 1 sophomore (AP Scholar w/ Honor)(non-AP classes are highest difficulty offered), EAGLE SCOUT, leadership in Maryland Youth & Government program, well-written essays, brother attends UMCP honors college, great recommendations (one from principal who is on engineering board at UMCP), work experience (20+ hrs./week).*</p>

<p>Can you all please help me out by giving me my chances? I am practically in love with this school.. preeease?</p>

<p>Only thing that might be a detriment is your UW GPA. I’d say it’s a low match.</p>

<p>In. My personal opinion is that there’s no way they would reject you with an SAT like that. 3.0 is obviously low but you’ve also obviously taken a tough course load so I don’t think it will be an issue.</p>
