So, I have a 3.6 and a 30 act score. I'll have plenty of community service to show on my app. I take all of the hardest classes my school offers (honors and ap) and will have great recomendation letters. I know this is vague, but what are my chances or acceptance, based on this info? (And what needs improvement?)

it would be a high match/low reach for you i think. you could try to get your grades up or retake the act to get it higher :)

I second what megan1234 said! Based on what you’ve given us, probably high match/low reach, but if you have stellar essays and recommendations than I’d say that you have an increased chance. According to their CDS, essays and recommendations carry the same weight as test scores/GPA.

Retaking the ACT would increase your chances, but it’s not a must. Your 30 is right around the middle of applicants.

Thanks! And yeah, I’m hoping to actually end up with a 3.7, and am already planning on taking the ACT again, but I wanted a “worst case scenario” outlook, so to speak.
