Alright, the only thing I'm worried about is EC's.

nhs member for all of high school (i'm going to run for pres next year, but I don't know if I'll win...)
Varsity Letter in Tennis is 9th grade
Johnson & Wales University Career explorations program
Child care (babysitting, but I'm only 15 & can't get a job where I live, so I want to put it)
Booster Club volunteering
PTSO volunteering
Vacation Bible School volunteering
Church Nursery volunteering
Red Cross Hospital Volunteer

120 hours total Various academic awards

It looks like nothing when it's split up into volunteering, work, and activities, so does anyone know if nyu/ the common app splits it up? Is there any way to make this look more impressive? ecs is the only things I'm really worried about...

3.92uw gpa
4.04 w

2050 SAT (670cr, 680w, 700m)
30 ACT (31 english, 26 math, 31 science, 32 reading, 30 combined english/writing- 9 essay)
which of these should I submit? Or both?

I think my essay will be pretty good- I'm a decent writer, and my brother (who was accepted to NYU, and there now) can help me edit it.

Teacher recommendation should be good- my AP lang teacher will be writing it and she should be finding out I got a 5 on her exam in a few days, haha.

Lastly, I'm not at a prestigious school or anything, but I'm a military kid living in Japan going to a DoDDS school, which supposedly looks good (even though DoDDs schools are really easy...)

Does anyone know if it looks bad if the teacher writing the rec has only known me for a year? I don't have any of the teachers i had in 10th grade, and I moved the summer before that, so... yeah.

thanks!
