<p>I am a white male living in Massachusetts and I attend a rigorous private school in Providence. I have no hooks.</p>

<p>I will not need financial aid and family income is >$250k (Impact at state schools?)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.96 (no weighting or class rank, but I would be top 5%).</p>

<p>Classes: All honors or AP</p>

<p>AP: Chem (5), English Lang & Comp (5), Stats, BC Calc, Physics C, Comp Gov & Politics</p>

<p>Recs: Very, very good</p>

<p>Essay: very good, individual voice, expands on a deep passion I have for golf</p>

<p>ECs:
-Golf team (Varsity all 4 years)

-Caddy work over Summer (paid)
-Peer Academic Coaches (student peer tutoring group)
-Crossing Hope (~100 hours tutoring underpriviliged inner city kids at local elementary school)

-Golf everyday for 4 hours during Summer (reflected in essay)</p>

<p>I transferred to my current school after one year at another, much less rigorous school. Does this have any impact?</p>

<p>Stanford, Penn, and Yale are reaches for anybody, unless you have a hook.</p>

<p>With that being said, your stats are excellent and you have as good of a chance as anybody does.</p>

<p>You’ll probably get into one if not all of the other schools. Your transfer will not have any impact.</p>
