Seems like you would be a terrific candidate. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments.

Bump Also I was thinking on applying to CalTech and maybe Carnegie Mellon. Chance me?

It looks like you’ll be an excellent candidate at all of these schools. Based on your stats, WPI would be a good match / safety. Not sure if finances are an issue for you, but you will likely be offered decent merit at WPI. Congrats on you accomplishments - enjoy your senior year!

I do know right now my dad is retiring from the government and my mom is to follow suit sometime after that
. So I might need at least 20000. Do you think I qualify?

Best way to find out is apply and see what is offered in financial aid. Take advantage of WPI’s early action which is non-binding. Also, note the Unity Scholarship on this page. http://www.wpi.edu/admissions/undergraduate/apply/merits.html Other schools and private programs may have similar scholarship opportunities. You are in a good place.

Thanks very informing. I’ll probably apply for that and a vex scholarship.

If you are val, sal, or (I think) NMF, you are guaranteed 20K per year merit. My son was Sal and NMF and got more than that, my daughter had excellent stats but did not qualify for the guaranteed 20K but got very close to that amount 3 years ago (19K per year plus 5K Global Scholars to go abroad). I agree that applying EA is a good idea. The CA supplement is very easy. I do suggest, however, taking the time to fill in the optional scholarship application.
