ACT 34 SAT 2275
Scored 5 on all AP tests
Won a couple of awards at schools robotic competition.
Since I took AP courses I am non ranked.
3.9 GPA UW 4.1W

Bump I have also done a community outreach for robotics. Chance me I’ll chance you back. Gracias

Im sorry on the SAT its 2295

You can’t even score a 2295 on the SAT…
SAT scores increase in increments of 10 not 5
What is your legitimate SAT score?

Just some projected stats

Have you actually taken the SAT or ACT yet? And what was your PSAT/Plan scores?

What exactly is Pre-AP? You said that you scored 5s on all your AP exams, but none of the courses you listed on your transcript are AP (besides your future senior year schedule). Did you self-study after those pre-ap courses and get 5s on the tests? And also, rank is usually based on GPA and not whether or not you’re taking APs. Maybe your school is different.

Pre-Ap stands for pre advanced placement. Its basically like honors courses

this is either a brilliant ■■■■■ or a brilliantly dull kid

Like I said I haven’t taken the SAT yet but I have taken the ACT and got a 34. PSAT: 220ish Plan: either 30 or 31. IDK. Long time

Wait so based on your description, it’s an honors course. Which AP scores do you have then, since all your APs are in your senior year?

Physics, Calculus BC, AP Comp. Science, because I took the courses over summer.

You’re guessing at SAT stats? Projected? If you do that on your apps you will be rejected. You need to be honest. Don’t put down projections.

UC Berkeley would be a reach. They don’t practice affirmative action. There is no funding at the UC’s for OOS applicants so if you want to come to Berkeley, you will be full pay $55K per year.

Why aren’t you going to your state flagship?

@auntbea his stats are way better than the state’s flagship’s. Hopefully you’re not being serious

@Classof2018app‌ Bama isn’t exactly BAD (and he could go there for cheap)…but it doesn’t bode well for chances if OP is projecting his scores without knowing how SAT scoring works. Colleges don’t like ignorance.

the OP has also projected a score that is impossible to achieve 2275

Why would I go to the University of Alabama for robotic engineering?

Because you could receive full tuition with the Presidential scholarship and qualify for the Honors College Program… Have you visited the campus?

<a href=“What schools did your child pass on in order to attend Alabama - University of Alabama - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-alabama/1549857-what-schools-did-your-child-pass-on-in-order-to-attend-alabama-p1.html</a></p>

Because you would get a lot of merit money.

Sorry for my ignorance
