OK, I’m a rising senior and I’m really worried about my GPA, SAT and EC’s.
I have an 80 (unweighted) GPA, my school doesn’t use the 4.0 system or a class rank so my best guess would be 2.5-2.7. I’ve only taken 2 honors courses in Freshman year, and back then I didn’t do much or care about my grades. Last year I stepped up and took a summer class but physics killed my GPA again this year. I took the SAT in May and got a 1640 with little prep, bad I know but I’m taking it again in October next year. My main EC’s include Gymnastics (10-11), SGA (10-11) and Yearbook (10-11), all of which I’m continuing next year.
I’m also taking 2-4 Honors/AP classes (Calculus, European History, Expository Writing and Economic Seminar) next year and I was wondering how that would help my college applications (I’m compiling a list over the summer).
