@Gumbymom My alternate was another capped major. 
Does it help that 6 of my 7 classes for last year and this year are AP level? (IB program)
It will help for your HS course rigor, but since Senior grades are not included in the admissions decision, it will have no impact on your UC GPA which is below the 25th percentile based on last years Freshman profile. (4.00-4.27) You also have applied to one of the most competitive majors. If you are accepted, I predict you will get in as Undeclared and trying to switch into CS or another capped major is very difficult.
