You’re a cinch to get in.
^ yea no, just because she founded that isn’t special enough to automatically get you in. Practically everyone who applied is involved with some form of feminism club or founded one or was president of one.
Not to scare you, but that is just another EC to list, it’s not going to get you in.
Not gonna lie, your gpa and test scores are pretty low for Barnard. Human geo also won’t get you any credit at Barnard I think. You’ve got some ECs that are interesting, but really depends on how committed to them you are if it’ll help a lot. Barnard is a pretty big reach for you. I’m not saying that you’re not going to get in and you definitely should apply, but it’s a competitive school and no one is an automatic in, but you do have a bit extra going against you. Work really hard on your essays, interview, and try your best to make you application explain you so that they may overlook your scores.
You definitely have a chance, but make sure to write GREAT essays-- so start early and get several people to help you make them awesome. Definitely get an interview because it can only help you.
