<p>I know my performance in the ninth grade wasn't the best but I was struggling to cope with the passing away of my mother and grandmother due to cancer. I decided to write my book to confront the problem and raise my grades.</p>

<p>So you've already completed high school? Are you taking a gap year, or have you started taking classes at another university? If it's the latter, you're not eligible to apply. Nice stats and ECs. If you're able to apply, you've got a pretty good shot.</p>
<p>Obviously a 2400 is a great accomplishment, but does Princeton really appreciate a perfect score that much? Like, if I were to get a perfect score, how much higher would my chances be than say, a 2350?</p>

<p>Even at the 2300+ level, higher scores make a big difference. For the Class of 2011, Princeton accepted 26% of those with SAT scores in the 2300-2400 range (Source</a>). The average for this group was probably around a 2330. But of those applicants who have a 2400, Princeton accepts roughly half (Source</a>).</p>
