Chance me

I am a first year at UCLA applying to transfer for Fall 2009.
High School: 3.8 by 2nd semester senior year, but my only B's were senior year.
Tons and tons of high school extracurriculars
AP tests: 5 on calc, 4 on US, 3 on lit
College: My first quarter I got a 3.1 =/, but it looks like my GPA will be raised by next quarter, invovled in Hillel and a sorority and a communication club
SAT: 1850

I am applying to: NYU steinhardt, Syracuse Newhouse, Emerson, Northeastern, BU

I want to get into a good communication program. Out of high school I was accepted to Syracuse Newhouse and Northeastern (those were the only 2 of the above that I had applied to), and I have gotten the schools to reactivate my app's, I just need to send in transcripts.

Please chance me. It's not looking good, huh?
thanks

why did you exclude the 2nd semester of your senior year in your gpa? that semester will be very important..what was your gpa? without knowing this,i dont think your out of the running for any of those schools

no no, including 2nd semester senior year, it was 3.8.
Thanks

oh, my b

i think you'll have a good enough shot at all of those schools...it seems as if you may be on a downward trend, but make sure you get your ec's and the rest of your app. together and you should have a good shot
