Will I have a chance for bio major?

First semester is over and I believe that my rank would have gone up a lot since I have done better this semester. Would an increase in rank by lets say about 10 people help?

Are you an in-state student?

An in-state student in the Top 10% has automatic admittance. You would have to be #46 or better for that which is probably impossible at this point. FYI, Top 10%'ers made up 81% of this fall's class.

I know students who were in the top 11% with higher scores that didn't get in last year. It may even be tougher this year.

Your SAT would make you an automatic admit to Texas A&M and you could even get scholarships to OSU, LSU, just name a few.

^ He/She is not an automatic admit at Texas A&M because he/she needs a 600 or better on both CR/M and 1300+.

CO2009HS - You have about 25% chance for regular. 35%ish for Summer Program
My class rank is about the same as yours but with a way higher unweighted GPA, higher SATs, 8 APs, Mediocre ECs, and I applied to Bio as my 1st choice major too, but I don't think that I will get in regular acceptance. I'm just really hoping for Summer right now.
