Chance me =)

Hello!

What are my chances for Cornell just based on these scores?

SAT Reasoning
2190 (Math: 790, CR: 690, Writing: 710)

SAT Subject Tests
Biology M: 750
Biology E: 740
Math Lvl 2: 750
Chem: 720

GPA:
4.0 (All A's)

Thanks

The school you’re applying to means A TON for Cornell’s admissions process, so there’s no use in “chancing” you if you don’t put down a school.

scores alone wont get you in. if thats all you have, 0% chance. we need more info

Scores were all I had and I got in…

Though, I had better scores…

@Feral24: err I have many awards in music and writing competitions (up to state and national level) but I didn’t feel like boasting. I know my scores are mediocre, but I just need to know if I need to retake any again.

@Ray192: What were your scores like?

Something like 2330 SAT/35 ACT, three 800 SAT IIs, 5s on 8 APs before senior year. Can’t remember exactly, but along those lines.

so, do you recommend taking the tests again?
oh, and what else stood out on your app? : )

If you have the time and cash, it wouldn’t hurt.

Nothing else really stood out, unless my recs rocked them socks or my essay blew their minds. But it’s not like they tell me about their reactions.

about the essay, what is creative, but not too outside the box? is writing about some middle school friend ok? or is that too silly.
